Opera Galaxy – A Celestial Concert Experience

In late 2025, Georgii Cherkin unveiled one of his most ambitious and visually stunning projects to date — “Opera Galaxy”. This visionary musical production brought together the power of classical music, the beauty of opera, and the magic of immersive 3D video mapping in a breathtakingjourney through sound and space.

The program featured some of the greatest arias in opera history alongside Cherkin’s original symphonic work “Galactic Fantasy”. For the first time on one stage, opera, classical music, and cutting-edge visual technology merged into a single, multidimensional experience.

Joined by the radiant soprano Maria Slavova, Cherkin led audiences through this visionary production in three of Bulgaria’s most prestigious venues: The State Opera Varna on 8 November, The State Opera Burgason 13 November, and Bulgaria Hall in Sofia on 12 December. “Opera Galaxy” captivated the imagination — a celebration of emotion, innovation, and the limitless universe of music.

Galactic Fantasy in Almaty: A Musical Journey Beyond the Stars

On October 17, 2025, Georgii Cherkin captivated audiences in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with his spectacular symphonic project “Galactic Fantasy.” The concert took place under the direction of Maestro Kanat Omarov, featuring the esteemed Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic Orchestra. Blending cinematic grandeur with classical virtuosity, the performance transported the audience on an unforgettable voyage through sound and space.

“Galactic Fantasy” Illuminates the Palace in Balchik

On 8 August, the enchanting gardens of the Palace in Balchik became the stage for a mesmerizing performance of “Galactic Fantasy” by Maestro Georgii Cherkin. Surrounded by sea, stars, and history, the audience was transported into a universe of sound and light, where classical masterpieces met immersive 3D mapping and digital art.

This open-air edition of the concert offered a truly magical atmosphere, blending nature, innovation, and music into an unforgettable summer night on the Black Sea coast.

Galactic Fantasy Tour 2024

In 2024, Maestro Georgii Cherkin captivated audiences across Bulgaria with his groundbreaking concert experience “Galactic Fantasy”. This visionary production fused classical music with cutting-edge technology, transforming three of the country’s most iconic venues into gateways to the galaxy.

The tour began on 28 September at the majestic Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv,continued on 25 Octoberin the intimate acoustics of the Organ Hall in Dobrich, and concluded with spectacular finale on 30 November at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia.Each performance offered a unique blend of 3D mapping, virtual exhibition, and Cherkin’s own arrangements for piano and orchestra of beloved classical masterpieces.

The tour left a lasting impression on thousands, redefining the boundaries of classical performance and offering a multisensory journey that will be remembered for years to come.

Christmas Concert

On December 4th, Georgii Cherkin returned to the stage for his Christmas concert “Holy Night”, together with violinist Zornitsa Ilarionova and mezzo-soprano Gergana Nikolaeva. The concert featured specially arranged versions of the most famous Christmas songs and beloved classical melodies associated with winter. Georgii Cherkin succeeded once again in winning over the audience, turning ‘Holy Night’ into a shared enchantment.
